Breath Control: The History of the Human Beat Box (2002) is a documentary directed by filmmaker Joey Garfield. With its length of 74 minutes it is the first feature documentary that entirely deals with the supject beatboxing.

With his film Garfield retrieved and preserved one of the most valuable video clips for beatbox history. It is an excerpt of the first appearance of The Fat Boys in The Morning Show hosted by Regis Philbin and Cyndy Garvey in 1984, which was aired on local TV network in New York. After a short beatbox demonstration When Buffy was asked by Regis Philbin, "When did you learn that you had this special ability?" he aswered, "Seven years ago" (1977). This is in accordance with his brother's satement of 2009 for the documentary "Beatboxing - The Fifth Elemennt of Hip Hop".
