Fresh click

A click is a short beatbox sound that is produced by the quick release of the tongue after being positiond on the roof of the mouth closing the airway.

When several click sounds are produced in a row in a very short time they are refered to as clickrolls.

Clicks and clickrolls are usually place between kicks and snares and are therfore a versatile alternative to common hihats.

Clicks are not limited to beatboxing, but also used in certain African languages.

Doug E Fresh was the first artist to frequently integrate these sounds into beatboxing.
