Doug E. Fresh ran his own restaurant "Doug E.'s Chicken and Waffles" in Harlem for several years. The restaurant opened in 2007 and closed in 2012, so it was in operation for about five years. The establishment was known for its soul food and was a popular spot in the Harlem community during its run.

Douglas Davis, better known by his stage name Doug E. Fresh (born September 17, 1966)

Doug E. Davis is generally considered the inventor of the clicks and clickrolls, which have also become his trademark sounds.
